Subscription Terms
Effective date: February 19, 2026
These Subscription Terms describe the plans available on YourShelf and how billing works. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these terms in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Plans
YourShelf offers two plans:
- Free: 5 media shelves, up to 16 link slots, 3 text fonts, and 2 themes. No payment required.
- Pro: Everything in Free, plus 60+ premium themes, 8 premium fonts, custom header backdrop images (sourced from film or game imagery via TMDB/IGDB, or uploaded as a custom file), 5 additional exclusive shelves (favorite directors, actors, writers, music artists, and songs), and custom poster artwork for select shelves (films, TV shows, books, directors, actors & games).

2. Billing and Renewal
Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on your choice at checkout). Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. All payments are processed by Stripe.
3. Price Changes
If we change the price of the Pro plan, we will notify you in advance. The new price will take effect at the start of your next billing period. If you do not agree with the new price, you can cancel before the next renewal.
4. Upgrading and Downgrading
You can upgrade from Free to Pro at any time through the app. When you upgrade, you will be charged immediately and gain instant access to Pro features. If you cancel (downgrade), your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
5. Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails, Stripe will attempt to retry the charge. During this time, your subscription may be marked as "past due." If payment cannot be collected after retries, your subscription will be canceled and your account will revert to the Free plan. You can update your payment method at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal.
6. Account Suspension or Termination
If your account is suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service, you will lose access to Pro features. Refunds in these cases are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of a paid plan after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
